My first thoughts when I saw the cage is that it's quite cool... however, after making the purchase and housing my babies in there, I find the cage lacking.
Firstly, the plastic cage parts were hard to clean - the snaps can be easily broken (and I did break it). Secondly the wheel on top first seemed cool but soon, you realized that the designer for the cage might have not tested this because the hamsters pee and poo easily flies out of the bottom of the wheel and onto your table or surrounding areas. ( i think a newer version of this cage actually has the wheel placed above the inside cage materials so the poo and can drop into the inside of the cage.)
There were also many pieces to wash.
In general, I don't recommend this cage over the others.
- Affordability: $20 Affordable
- Ease of Assembly: Moderate - plastic was hard to snap
- Ease of Cleaning: Not easy - many pieces to clean and take apart
- Asthetics: good - looks great
- Durability: Not really durable
